Laguna Beach Food Tour Testimonials

I'm happy to admit...it was my 2nd tour with Flavors! This time I took my boyfriend (who at first did a little of the kicking/screaming thing). On the way there, he asked how long the tour was and when I said about 3 hours...."he looked at me" and ALMOST turned the car around. He said, "but I'm just now getting around to feeling better....all I have in me is about an hour & a half". I replied with a smaile "well, we can leave 1/2 way through...but it would be rude". At dinner and through Sunday brunch he talked about how much he enjoyed it. We even bought a gift certificate for a close friend of ours birthday that same day. I asked what his favorite highlight was and "Mr. Yoga is my religion" actually said the Cathedral was the highlight (if he had to pick one). I concurred and we both now know what our true religion really is :-) La Sirena Grill is full of yummy flavors...everything is fresh; Gallo's Subs offers deli meat above all with fresh baked bread from Cest Si Bon in Newport (keeping the love close), Lumber Yard was a treat; nice display the fish was great and although I'm not a Chardonnay drinker...their house was incredibly mouthwatering. The staff & beer @ Ocean Ave was fun...I liked my first pour. You can't go wrong with the candy baron...Jack picked up some clove gum...mmmMM. Some of the shops we went to had very unique things (yes he did...my BF bought something). Pizza lounge although very busy, the owner came out and delivered the pizza to the group. Their lounge style outdoor seating was cozy. So many flavors that he did it again...my BF ordered a chicken and peach pizza slice for the rest of the walk. Every aspect of the tour was fun and educational. I would really love our tour guide, Pearl's accent. All week I've been walking around trying to figure out what cool name I wish I had. It definitely went with her spunky personality! Perfect morning fun! ***** all the way!

GF talked me into tour...not much of a tour guy...this one changed my mind! The combination of our personable guide, the very interesting sites and the awesome tastes of food timed with perfect intervals made the time just fly by. A must for locals and visitors! A ten to the creator and the participants!!! I already bought a gift certificate for a friends b-day!

My friend, Brenda, and I had a FANTASTIC time on your tour this past Memorial weekend! We loved Pearl and learning a little more of the history of Laguna Beach (my FAVORITE!).. All the places we tasted were so yummy and I can't wait to go back! Thanks, Pearl!!

Elliot and I soooooo enjoyed our tour with you a few weeks ago. If you remember, we were in town (St. Regis) for a security conference. We enjoyed every aspect of the tour and want to thank you for an afternoon that was fun and educational (not to mention yummy).

This is a MUST do for anyone spending any time in Laguna Beach! We were only there one night and did the Flavors of Laguna the second day, but wished we were going to be there longer so we could go back and eat at some of the amazing restaurants they took us to! We will be back and we WILL do the tour again even. My suggestion is that you do it on day one of your visit so you can go back and revisit some of the places you liked! Amazing, amazing, amazing! Fun, friendly, fabulous!

We were able to do the tour on a nice day in December 2010, just before all the rains hit! Everything about our experience was first class...from the food to the knowledge our tour guide provided us during our trek. Laguna Beach has many fine eateries, and we were able to sample delights from several of them. We highly recommend the Flavors of Laguna tour for anyone who enjoys food and seeing beautiful scenery.

What a pleasant surprise! My wife and I are both seniors - would we be able to keep up with the group? what with the different restaurants, tastes and sights, combined with our informative guide, Loraine, the four hours went by so fast we didn't notice. Best advertisement is word of mouth and "Flavors of Laguna" gets a 4*rating from us.
